Rehoboth Ale House Downtown Policies

Large Groups
Large groups must be approved by our Fun Director, Jessalynn, at least 7 days before arrival. This is due to scheduling, ordering product, and time-of-year. Jessalynn can be reached at jessalynn.rah@gmail.com. Please note that we reserve the right to decline any group for any reason.

Walk-Up Seating
We have the right to deny any large party at any time based on the flow and customer experience at our restaurant, regardless of available seating. If we do seat the group, we can stagger seating at any time.

Open Seats
If you walk up to get a seat and we give you a wait time, but you still see empty seats, it is because we don’t want to overwhelm the limited staff that we have available. We want your experience to be a positive one when you visit either Rehoboth Ale House location! 

Kids Seating
Rehoboth Ale House is committed to being a safe space for families to come for a bite to eat. Whether you are coming off of the boardwalk, or coming into town late at night, we want to accommodate you and your kiddos. With that said, however, we want everyone around you to have a great time as well. Due to recent groups that have come in, we’ve made the decision to stop being babysitters, and must ask at least one 21 or older adult to sit at and supervise every table with any kids under the age of 18. 

Moving Tables
We get it. Sometimes you’re seating a little too close to the peeps next to you or you want to join tables with the rad people next to you. If this is the case, please grab a staff member to assist you. If you move tables on your own, we can and we will ask you to leave. Not only are our tables and chairs expensive, but we cannot disrupt the flow or safety of the restaurant and our patrons. We don’t come into your living room and decide where your couch should go!

Restaurant Buyout
To use our Downtown location as a venue for an event you are planning, the price is $700/hour. Additionally, the buy out time must begin two hours before the event begins and will extend to two hours after, to allow for the set-up and breakdown of the event. This is negotiable and exceptions may apply.

Automatic Gratuity
There is an automatic 20% gratuity on walk-outs. There is also an automatic 18% gratuity on parties of 8 people or more. If you wish to add more, please advise your server.
